Hava Villaverde, Faculty Director, M.B.A.
Ms. Villaverde has been a practicing attorney, sustainable business advocate, and educator over the course of her career. After earning her Sustainable MBA from Green Mountain College, her quest for knowledge and love of teaching has fueled her interest in making business ever better for the planet. Upon coming to Prescott College as the Director of the MBA in Sustainability Leadership, she focuses on the practical application of sustainability principles and the development of toolkits and networks to equip graduates for the opportunities they will have to make change. With a focus on current events, social media, and interactive exercises, Ms. Villaverde encourages Prescott’s MBA students to engage to the fullest with course materials, instructors, and each other in learning the essential building blocks of sustainable business.
Dr. Robin Currey, Faculty Director, Sustainable Food Systems
Dr. Currey is an ethnoecologist specializing in agrobiodiversity conservation in small-scale agricultural systems, or home gardens. Before coming to Prescott College, Dr. Currey served as faculty and Director of the Master of Science in Sustainable Food Systems (MSFS) program at Green Mountain College. In addition to her experience at GMC, Dr. Currey is the former Director of Mercy Corps in Kyrgyzstan, an international development and humanitarian organization, and the current non-executive Director for Community Development Financial Institution in Kyrgyzstan. Her work with Mercy Corps in Kyrgyzstan grew from her efforts to understand and influence the sustainability and resilience of small-holder agro-pastoral systems to address inequalities in the food system.
